Cure HPV Effectively
HPV is the virus
mainly causing condylomata acuminata (Genital warts). This virus
causes tiny growth on the genitals of both sexes. Like any other
viral diseases, the HPV is highly contagious and transmitted through
direct contact. Genital warts, in the past and even presently are
often treated locally with the help of some liquid or solution.
Some cases are treated by cauterization (burning the warts) by skin
doctors. All such measures, it has been observed, are temporary;
and the warts reappear after some time. Hpv cannot be cured completely,
since the infection persists even after complete removal of the
wart. Hence care should be taken to notice the recurrence of the
wart in the adjacent skin area. There is no way to predict whether
the warts will grow or disappear. Therefore, if you suspect you
have genital warts, you should be examined and treated, if necessary.
Genital warts can be avoided by not having sex or by having sex
only with one uninfected partner. Early onset of sexual activity
can also increase the risk of contracting genital warts.
Depending on
the need and intensity of the wart, the health care provider will
provide different types of medicaments for effective cure. The commonly
used medicaments are Imiquimod cream, 20 percent podophyllin antimitotic
solution, 0.5 percent podofilox solution, 5 percent 5-fluorouracil
cream and Trichloro acetic acid. Any one of these medicines can
be applied on the genital warts. Podophyllin and podofilox should
not be used in expectant mothers, since these creams are having
teratogenic in activity. Merck Research Laboratories are doing research
for producing vaccine against HPV. Hopefully there will be a solution
for the annoying problem of warts in the not too distant future.
Many doctors are willing to draw a circle around the wart without
treating it with either caustic soda or liquid nitrogen, a high
tech variant that is effective in half the cases is fake radiant.
Hypnosis also works well for some of the adults.
