Combination of Retin-A with glycolic acid proves an effective acne regimen which peels every few weeks. If you have not got better results consult a dermatologist for an antibiotic to cure pimples. Topical treatments for pimples can also be given using the essential oils that are available over the counter in most of the medical stores. The essential oils that are used in the treatment of pimples are lavender oil, clove oil, rosewood oil, bergamot oil, and tea tree oil. These essential oils have excellent anti bacterial properties. That is why these are used in the treatment of pimples and acne. Some of these oils should not be used directly in its fullest strength. Instead they are used in combination with carrier oil like grape see oil. Women who are pregnant should consult a doctor before taking up any treatment for pimples/acne.
