Identifying chronic fatique syndrome symptoms
Chronic fatigue
syndrome is a disorder in which the affected person appears to be
lethargic and not active as a normal person. They may be very slow
in their activities. Lack of concentration is found in their activities.
Physical activities are very less and even if they involve themselves
in any physical activity they tend to become very tired after doing
it. Most of the symptoms that are considered as symptoms of chronic
fatigue syndrome are also the symptoms of a host of other diseases.
Hence a patient has to be properly diagnosed for chronic fatigue
syndrome and then taken treatment.
The doctor has
to analyze the history of the patient before coming to a conclusion
that the patient is having chronic fatigue syndrome. Person with
chronic fatigue syndrome also suffer from stress and its related
symptoms like migraine headaches, sleep disturbances, anxiety, tension,
high blood pressure, fatigue, skin problems, weight gain, frequent
cold or flu and other infections. Patients
with chronic fatigue syndrome are recommended to do simple exercises
to keep themselves active. Simple stretching exercises and swimming
can be performed to keep themselves active. Relaxation techniques
in the form of yoga can also be recommended for such patients.
Allopathic
medications like anti-depressants are prescribed for patients who
have sleeping disorders. These anti depressants are given in very
low doses when compared to the doses given to the depression patients.
Drugs like Aleve, Anaprox, Naprosen, Advil, Motrin, Feldene which
are anti inflammatory drugs are given to patients who suffer from
pain due to chronic fatigue syndrome. Prescription drugs like Tramadol
hydrochloride, celecoxib, and refecoxib are also given to such patients
to improve sleep. Side effects like vomiting, nausea, abdominal
pain and gastrointestinal bleeding are found in those patients who
use such medications. There are homeopathic medications and herbal
medications available to treat chronic fatigue syndrome. Consult
