Hello, my name is Jeremy Carew Reid and I was bedridden for many years with a sickness called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. What follows is an account of my healing journey on how I cured myself from one of the most mysterious and stubborn illnesses that is effecting and crippling millions of people around the world today.

Identifying chronic fatique syndrome symptoms

Chronic fatigue syndrome is a disorder in which the affected person appears to be lethargic and not active as a normal person. They may be very slow in their activities. Lack of concentration is found in their activities. Physical activities are very less and even if they involve themselves in any physical activity they tend to become very tired after doing it. Most of the symptoms that are considered as symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome are also the symptoms of a host of other diseases. Hence a patient has to be properly diagnosed for chronic fatigue syndrome and then taken treatment.

The doctor has to analyze the history of the patient before coming to a conclusion that the patient is having chronic fatigue syndrome. Person with chronic fatigue syndrome also suffer from stress and its related symptoms like migraine headaches, sleep disturbances, anxiety, tension, high blood pressure, fatigue, skin problems, weight gain, frequent cold or flu and other infections. Patients with chronic fatigue syndrome are recommended to do simple exercises to keep themselves active. Simple stretching exercises and swimming can be performed to keep themselves active. Relaxation techniques in the form of yoga can also be recommended for such patients.

Allopathic medications like anti-depressants are prescribed for patients who have sleeping disorders. These anti depressants are given in very low doses when compared to the doses given to the depression patients. Drugs like Aleve, Anaprox, Naprosen, Advil, Motrin, Feldene which are anti inflammatory drugs are given to patients who suffer from pain due to chronic fatigue syndrome. Prescription drugs like Tramadol hydrochloride, celecoxib, and refecoxib are also given to such patients to improve sleep. Side effects like vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and gastrointestinal bleeding are found in those patients who use such medications. There are homeopathic medications and herbal medications available to treat chronic fatigue syndrome. Consult a doctor for use of such medications.
