How to cure blackheads safely?
The sebum secreted
by the sebaceous glands gets blocked in the pores of the skin and
the oil that comes in to contact with the air gets oxidized and
becomes black in appearance. The best method to remove blackheads
is to remove the sebum and the dead cells. This can be done by any
natural ingredients like jojoba oil or coconut oil. These oils are
used in some products that are used for cleansing the skin. These
oils do not block the pores. You can use a gentle exfoliator to
remove the dead skin cells. Products that contain alcohol, isopropyl
mystate, lanolin, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate,
propylene glycol, mineral oil and parabens should be avoided. Trying
to remove the blackheads using your fingers would permanently damage
the pores and they stop working properly. While you attempt to squeeze
them out you may sometimes force them to go deeper into the skin.
Such attempts may cause pimples and cysts in the future.
Tea tree oil
can be used to clear the blackheads. Green People's Fruit scrub
can be used to exfoliate the dead cells and this can be done twice
a week to keep your skin clean. Lavender oil can also be used to
cleanse your skin. Avoid Sugary foods and Yeast products (bread,
beer, yeast extract, soya sauce and mushrooms). Eat plenty of foods
with antioxidants. Evening primrose, flaxseed and hemp seed oils
are also beneficial to the skin because they contain essential fatty
acids. Tea tree oil body wash can be used all over the body including
the face. It can be used even in bubble bath. Tea tree oil has numerous
benefits such as deep cleansing, antibacterial, antiseptic, antifungal,
antiviral and antimicrobial agent. Teenagers who have greasy skin
can use tea tree oil. It can also be used by children and babies.
