How to remove blackheads effectively?
Blackhead is
a common skin problem mostly affecting the teens. People get concerned
blackhead if the blackhead appears in the face especially women
and girls. Blackhead mainly occurs in an individual due to improper
skin care, lack of nutritious food and impaired hormonal production.
Scars may develop if the blackheads are picked or squeezed. The
affected area should be kept clean by washing it daily with unperfumed
cleanser. Using soaps and antibacterial washes especially for greasy
skin may also tackle this problem mildly. Mix one tablespoon of
Epsom salt with ¼ cup of boiling water. Three drops of Iodine
should be poured into this hot mixture and allowed it to cool until
it is comfortable to touch.
Dabbing the
blackheads with the cotton ball soaked in this mixture. This method
will loosen the blackhead and easy to remove using any blackhead
remover available in the market. Sometimes the gauze pad also being
used to remove the blackhead after it gets loosened. The
blackhead, which is ready to burst, can readily be removed using
blackhead extractor. Putting pressure around the blackhead with
blackhead extractor helps it to pop out through the pore. Pore cleanser
can also be used regularly once in a week to keep the pore clean
and neat.
Putting pressure
by blackhead extractor or pore cleanser around the un ripened spot
will definitely lead to bacterial infection around the affected
skin and become very worse. Infected blackheads require doctors
advice to use either antibiotic or hormonal therapy. A half a teaspoon
of boric acid is mixed with 1½ cups of hot mater for making
a solution. This is an ideal concoction for blackheads. A face napkin
may be soaked in this solution and apply on the affected area twice
daily. Using sterilized cotton wool or gauze the blackhead is removed
carefully. Four tablespoon of baking soda and four tablespoon of
water is combined and applied on the blackhead area skin rub it
there and leave it for 2-3 minutes. Then rinse the skin with cold
water. This helps to remove the blackhead effectively.
